Biography

Per Kohl has been a research associate at the Institute for Systems Research in Information, Communication and Media Technology since April 2017. In the context of the project Centrum für Automatisierte Mobilität (CAMO), Mr. Kohl deals with the initiation of a learning and knowledge transfer process as well as the testing and dissemination of solutions for the implementation of automated driving. In his research, Mr. Kohl deals with topics related to technology-oriented acceptance research. Central research topics are strategies and measures to overcome innovation barriers and resistance.

Mr. Kohl studied electrical engineering and industrial engineering at the University of Wuppertal. He specialized in energy and innovation and technology management. In his master's thesis, he investigated the influence of innovative mobility solutions on the traffic space of the future.  He then worked as a research assistant at the University of Wuppertal, where he was involved in various research and development projects, including the topic of "Intelligent, environmentally friendly and integrated mobility" in the context of demographic change.
