Business Strategy

This course focuses on the functions of effective and efficient management in the course of corporate development. Instruments and concepts are presented that enable an analysis of the specific competitive situation of companies as well as methods and instruments for the development of strategic programs. Special emphasis is placed on the internal implementation of strategic decisions. Furthermore, the event will focus on the interactions between strategy and human resources/organizational development.

At the end of the course, the participating students will

  • know the basics and concepts of strategic management
  • be able to apply selected methods for analyzing companies, customers and competitors as well as for developing strategies,
  • know about the interdependencies between market, technology, organization and human resources
  • have applied selected methods of strategy development in an exemplary manner.
