Biography
Dustin Moreira Simoes has been a research assistant at the Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation at the University of Wuppertal since August 2025.
Mr. Moreira Simoes studied mechanical engineering with a focus on mechatronics at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In his master's thesis at Robert Bosch GmbH, he dealt with the predictive acoustic diagnosis of turbocharger damage using machine learning methods.
At TMDT, Mr. Moreira Simoes focuses on the use of reinforcement learning in an industrial context.
