Biographie
Dr. André Pomp ist seit September 2019 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institute for Technologies and Management of Digital Transformation an der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal tätig.
Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen der semantischen Datenintegration auf Basis von flexiblen und erweiterbaren Wissensgraphen, der Datenanalyse und des maschinellen Lernens, des Industrial Natural Language Processings, der Industrial Information Extraction sowie der Konstruktion von modernen Softwarearchitekturen in verschiedenen Domänen.
Herr Dr. Pomp studierte Informatik mit Nebenfach Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der RWTH Aachen. Vertiefungsgebiete des Studiums waren Verteilte Systeme, Kommunikationstechnologien, IT Sicherheit und Data Mining. Von Januar 2015 bis August 2019 war Herr Dr. Pomp wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter & Doktorand am Cybernetics Lab IMA & IfU der RWTH Aachen University. Dort übernahm er im April 2018 die Leitung der Forschungsgruppe Cognitive Computing & eHealth. Im Juni 2020 promovierte er ebendort zum Thema „Bottom-up Knowledge Graph-based Data Management“.
In den letzten Jahren führte Herr Dr. Pomp zahlreiche Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte in den Bereichen Logistik und Mobilität, Smart City, Telekommunikation und Produktion durch. Hierbei beschäftigte er sich insbesondere mit dem Aufbau geeigneter Integrationsarchitekturen sowie dem Einsatz maschineller Lernverfahren.
